I know first hand what it feels like to be a child of Divorce becasue my parents separated when I was only 9yrs old. I thought I had the perfect Family, but sadly in a moment, my world was about to be shattered into a thousand pieces.
I was very angry at the world, and felt like I was the only child going through this. I didn't know who to talk to about it. I know now I made the wrong decision of talking to anyone. This only led to further problems down the tract with relationships and drugs. Trust me when I say this, Talking to someone, anyone you trust, is better than saying nothing at all. Don't bottle your feelings up as they are just as important as your parents feelings. This is your family too, so make sure you put yourself first and seek help. Remember you are not alone or the only one going through it.

Important Tips To Remember!
Where Do You Start?
Right now you are probably going through your own up & down emotions, and you have no idea how to talk to your kids.
Well you have come to the right place!
Remember it is never to late to open the communication lines between you and your child. I would suggest you read my book "Please Don't Go!" first, to give yourself a birds eye view of how they could be feeling.
You need to get into their world. Find out their intrests, and make some one on one time with each child. Let them know that you care about how they are feeling and would like them to know that you are there if they want to chat.
* Remember they feel your pain as they are suffering too
* Don't assume they are ok
* Ask them if they would like to talk (or be ready to when they want too) be an open door
* If you have a close relative they may open up too maybe try taking them there, or they may be open to see a counsellor
* Stick to your Boundaries & Rules
*Keep up their normal routine (It helps them)
*Don't brush things under the carpet as it may come back to bite you later
*Put them before a new partner, they need you more.
* Love them, Love them, Love them.
